Each year, Golden Key International Honour Society organizes an event to welcome newly joined Golden Key members into the society. The new member reception was held to formally recognize Golden Key Chapter (GKS) members to acknowledge their hard work, dedication and academic achievements, and to encourage them to exemplify the three core values of GKS: Academics, leadership and service.


Lim Yijun Carol, the President of GKS, kicked off the session with the President’s Greeting. As the Campus Head of JCUS and the Honorary member of GKS, Dr Dale Anderson extended his congratulations and expressed his support for GKS. He then delivered his Honorary Keynote Address, engaging the audience by sharing the importance of leadership in success. Golden Key inductees were welcomed into the society by presenting them with certificates by Dr Dale Anderson. Awards of leadership were awarded to the current GKS executive committee to acknowledge their efforts in establishing Golden key as a society in JCUS. We extended our appreciation to our two Honorary members, Dr Dale Anderson and Dr Steven Naylor. We would also like to extend our appreciation to Ms. Jennifer Chunn, the previous advisor of GKS, for her kind support all these years and to extend a warm welcome to Mrs Hwee Leng Toh-Heng, the new chapter advisor for GKS.

All inductees and guests enjoyed and mingled over buffet lunch reception. The event proceeded smoothly, with much thanks to JCUS Campus Activities Staff.

Lastly, we would like to extend a warm welcome to the new Golden Key inductees and please expect many interesting and exciting activities from GKS this upcoming year!
